Good afternoon guys! What a great day this is!With everything going on with one of our fur babies getting sick and then passing away this past Monday we were hoping and waiting for some good news. We've had to wait for a couple of weeks to hear if we got the house that we put an offer on. We previously booked a showing of the house on the weekend and before that day ended we loved the house and couldn't pass the chance to make it ours (we were in love the moment we pulled in the driveway of the house).
As soon as we knew that we got the house, we wanted to share the news with our family first and now I'm so happy to be able to share this news with you! As I'm typing this up, we're in the middle of packing boxes & emptying the shelves. Then we're planning on renting a U-Haul truck to move all the stuff over to our new house! (It feels incredible to say that!)
This is our D-R-E-A-M home! A space for us to grow and expand, inside and outside. We fell IN-LOVE with it the moment we pulled into the driveway (as mentioned above, haha. Like I said, we couldn't pass up this house, it never left our minds).
Below I'll share a few small details that we love about our house and what captured our interest the moment we saw it.
-We love that it's in a small town, about 30minutes outside of the big city.
-The backyard is massive, no neighbors except to our right and across the street from us.
-The living room and kitchen are an open concept with a small office area that I plan to make a bar & coffee bar.
_The kitchen has been renovated with a black/grey/white back splash, wine rack, over-sized island with an area for bar stools and eating area if it's just the two of us.
-There's three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
-A big walk-in closet in the master bedroom.
-French doors in the master bedroom which lead out to a deck that overlooks the backyard and in the evening we can relax and stargaze. Definitely planning on getting a waterproof patio set.
-Underneath the deck, a three-season sun room is located. I love looking at the rain and smelling the fresh rain air. Now I'll be able to do that without getting wet and cold. The sun room is also benefiting our two fur babies who love looking out the windows at nature & different animals (especially birds and squirrels, haha, if you have cats, then you know what I'm talking about here).
That's all I can share for now. I cannot wait til the moment we move in and start arranging the furniture to reflect our style. We'll be sharing every step of the way with you guys! Currently Wayfair and The Brick have been our destinations for shopping living room furniture and decor. Love you guys!
